Nicholson Greg
Dr. Nicholson received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis and performed his residency at University Hospital of Cleveland /Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, OH. He subsequently completed a shoulder/elbow fellowship at the New York Orthopaedic Hospital, Columbia/Presbyterian Medical Center, in New York City. He was in practice with OrthoIndy in Indianapolis, IN for nine years and then came to Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 2001.
In Chicago, Dr. Nicholson is a partner at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, and is an associate professor of Orthopaedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center. He is director of the Shoulder Fellowship program and section head of Shoulder surgery at Rush. He is a team physician for the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls. He is a member of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons. He has served as the secretary/treasurer on the board of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons for the last three years.
